Achieving HIPAA Compliance

Customer Success Story

One of Conquest Cyber’s clients is a large healthcare provider that represents nearly 300 physician practices, 800 clinics, and 300,000 patients. The main goal was achieving and maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) was created in efforts to prevent healthcare fraud and protect electronic records and health information. Achieving HIPAA compliance ensures that the necessary measures have been taken to protect this sensitive information and gives patients the ability to decide who their records are shared with. Failure to comply with HIPAA may result in security breaches, subjecting the organization and patients to risk.

Conquest Cyber is a Microsoft Gold-competency Partner and supports a number of needs surrounding cybersecurity and offers other IT business solutions. By partnering with Microsoft and utilizing the Cloud along with our SCyOps Health platform, we were able to help strengthen our client’s security posture and achieve HIPAA compliance.
